    Primary function of a Receptionist: Create a positive first impression of Crowder Construction Company. Greet clients, vendors, subcontractors, etc. Assist them through the appropriate visitor process. Maintain a presentable appearance of the work area and lobby. Answer and direct a multi-line phone system. Receive, distribute, and process all incoming/outgoing mail. Provide additional administrative support as needed.

    Typical duties included but are not limited to:

  • Unlock the front door and turn on the lights; open and close the switchboard.

  • Answer incoming calls, annotate call log, and route calls to correct personnel. Do all possible to assist the caller.

  • Greet clients, vendors, subcontractors, and visitors and direct as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and inviting lobby and reception area.

  • Create and develop rapport with customers.

  • Receive and sort all mail.

  • Sign for packages and alert receiver when packages arrive.

  • Process outgoing USPS mail and Federal Express packages.

  • Provides administrative support to the Accounting Department, Administrative Assistants, and Executive Assistant on an as-needed basis.

    Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:

  • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English in the performance of job requirements.
