The Senior Director, Global Investment Financial Analyst role will lead a team of Financial Analysts to provide Financial modeling and business case development for new investment opportunities, manage new business case approvals, measure against approved business cases and support third party investment initiatives. This position will provide a critical role in supporting the Global CFO and Global Investment Team to enable our aggressive expansion plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and oversee global business case modeling process for Global Data Center organization ensuring consistent methodologies, modeling template and processes

  • Collaborate with parent entity to align on new investment KPIs and investment performance expectations

  • Oversee development of new site business case modeling scenarios to support new investment approvals

  • Enhance and standardize business case template across regions, develop standard process and KPIs to meet management needs

  • Establish and maintain rhythm of business routine for existing site business case monitoring and reporting against actuals

  • Create power BI dashboards for management reporting and analytics

  • Provide robust business case modeling for Joint Venture activities.

  • Collaborate with Global Investment Team to support all financial requirements of Joint Ventures activities, including Quality of Earnings, Working Capital, funding plan, consolidation accounting treatment and Accounting Steps plan.

  • Create and maintain business case policy and process documentation

  • Manage and develop Business case modeling analyst staff to create best of class business case support

  • Collaborate with Regional Management, other global departments and global FP&A to obtain all business case inputs

  • Support project sponsor to secure internal approvals, working closely with Investment Committee, Land Site Selection, Construction and Tokyo parent company for approvals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel required.

  • Knowledge of IFRS

  • Ability to communicate complex Financial/Accounting terminology to non-financial personnel

  • Ability to work with different groups and levels across the company to bring consensus

  • Experience evaluating and underwriting real estate, infrastructure or corporate finance transactions or investment opportunities.

  • Advanced MS Excel, VBA and Financial Modelling skills including ability to produce complex, multi-dimensional models from scratch

  • Advanced MS Power Point and ability to condense and portray complex data into digestible project or opportunity memorandums for senior executive audiences.

  • Strong IT skills to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word Power BI and Outlook.

  • Comfortable in high pressure and fast-pace transactional environments.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent in English language, written and oral

  • Ability to work across different cultures, languages and time zones

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10+ years Financial Modeling and 5+ years management experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Remain stationary for long periods of time

  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • 20-40% travel required, including international travel

  • Outside of US business hours will be required to accommodate international time zones

  • Remote work majority of the time; provide adequate at home work environment

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $ 188,000 - $ 277,800.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
