This position is responsible for setup and installation of technical systems and applications, primarily SAP S/4HANA, following NTT standard processes. The ideal candidate will leverage SAP experience and knowledge to create and enhance processes to optimize user experience and acknowledging feedback based on client experiences for product and process improvements. This role also includes support, upgrades, updates, configuration, and administration of SAP S/4HANA and addressing ticket escalations from our Tier 1 support while maintaining defined SLAs. This support includes the testing and troubleshooting of functionality of installed system applications (SAP S/4HANA and interfaced systems) and identifying and documenting technical issues that may require engineering input for resolution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain the SAP S/4HANA landscape, including system upgrades, patches, and installations.

  • Administer and maintain systems with a concentration in SAP’s FI, CO, MM, SD, and PS modules.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Configure, optimize, and document system configurations, settings, profiles, and parameters.

  • Implement and manage security measures to protect data and applications.

  • Control user access, authorization, and permissions using HR system integrations within SAP system.

  • Ensure data quality is maintained within integrated systems.

  • Recommend improvements and or new products to reduce costs, simplify the operational support.

  • Prepare end-user, tier 1 support, and internal documentation for system processes and workflows.

  • Support end users from tier 1 escalations in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, make system recommendations, and implement solutions.

  • Assist in the technical preparation of business process workflows and procedures.

  • Manage automated and manual test scripts/scenarios and assist clients in functional testing cycles.

  • Deliver progress reports and participate actively as a project team member.

  • Perform the project management role on smaller projects aligned with accepted project management principles.

  • Provide training and support to end users, tier 1 support, and team members as needed.

  • Support peers and teams in specific areas of a project, such as functional testing, application configuration, data migration.

  • Participate in discussions around process design and configuration.

  • Knowledge and understanding of standard IT industry practices and processes

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP, including configuration and administration.

  • .lS/4HANA or Oracle EBS administration and support experience is a plus

  • Technical and functional experience with the following SAP modules

  • Finance Accounting (FI)

  • Controlling (CO)

  • Material Management (MM)

  • Sales and Distribution (SD)

  • Project Systems (PS)

  • Experience working with and administrations of applications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Jira, Salesforce, SCADA (Facility Control apps) a plus

  • Experience with systems administration across multiple disciplines (Storage, Linux, Windows, Virtualization) a plus

  • Experience with BAPI, ABAP, BusinessObjects is a plus.

  • Exposure to performance tuning and optimization of enterprise systems.

  • Experience creating and documenting recommendations for technical upgrades based on knowledge of functionality for business operations

  • Previous experience working with managed services providers or contractor support

  • Demonstrated experience of the functional aspects of the application or system

  • Demonstrated experience of business processes and associated technology

  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical guidance for the planning, design implementation, patches and upgrades, and support of enterprise applications

  • Demonstrated experience in client engagement

  • SAP certifications are a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, bending, and lifting

  • Able to hear and speak on a telephone

  • Close visual work on a computer terminal, whiteboards, printed documents, and blueprints

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments

  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs

  • Able to climb a ladder and work on a raised platform

WORK CONDITIONS

  • This position is expected to be remote with occasional need to be on-site in a shared workspace.

  • Extensive daily usage of workstation or computer; construction sites; confined locations with IT equipment

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess a current, valid state issued driver’s license

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $86,400 - $128,000.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
