Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Security Engineer within IBM CIC you’ll help deliver unique client co-creation experiences to accelerate their transformation. From identification of requirements to technical decisions impacting the business case, you’ll lead all aspects of integrated solutions.

• A good understanding of Web Application Development and deployment

• Experience in security testing (OWASP Top 10) with standard tools using SAST, DAST, OSA, and Direct Test tools to perform testing and remediation

• Performing the execution, validation and remediation of Security and Privacy by Design test work for the assigned offerings

• Having knowledge on SIRT/PSIRT operations, identification of risks, threats, vulnerabilities, potential anomalous flows and interactions and the remediation of them and conduct proactive security scans and risk assessments

• Collaborating with the technical, legal, compliance and risk management teams

Required technical and professional expertise

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in security domain along with hands on experience in security vulnerability analysis and remediation

• Strong understanding of DevSec Ops and automate security process using scripting and programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, C/C++)

• Must be self-directed, resilient, and creative with strong communication skills, able to explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences across the globe

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Must have knowledge of Versioning control system like GITHUB/RTC

• Fluent in English and Dutch or French (written & spoken)
