Within J&J IM Principal Operations, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Innovative Medicine business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with J&J Innovative Medicine Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Currently we are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst – Inventory & Costing to join the IMPO organization in Beerse, Belgium. The purpose of this role is to lead Supply Chain Reporting for both Planning & Actual ‘Other Costs Not in Standard’ (OCNIS) including the consolidated view. In this role you are the go-to person for both internal IMPO and external stakeholders such as Supply Chain Finance.

You will work in a cross-country virtual team with direct colleagues in Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, and Switzerland.

What you’ll do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Supply Chain reporting for MRC3090 Reporting both Actuals and Forecasts including specific Business units including Sourcing, various Supply Chain plants, Deliver and Home Office.

  • Be the ‘go to’ person for Belgium OCNIS and Variance reporting, investing in a strong business partnering network with stakeholders across the business to ensure key items impacting BE reporting are incorporated.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of actuals, budgets and latest thinking within strict timelines and in accordance with Internal and External SOX compliance regulations.

  • Lead the BVA Analysis Review to Senior Management and Controlling team for MRC3090 at both Legal (Standard Value) aswell as management values (Excluding Intercompany Profit).

  • Maintain Master Data integrity across MRC 3090 for CFIN reporting, Anaplan Budgeting and Consolidation Tools.

  • Embrace change and challenging the status quo. Drive standardization and harmonization including process improvements and new ways of working, aligning Belgium with the wider IMPO team. Contribute & influence digital transformation solutions and identify ways to live into technology enhancements to increase efficiency of internal processes.

  • Be an active member of the COSMOS project for various workstreams in OCNIS & Variances

  • Proactively take ownership for personal development, ensuring a positive work life balance while managing partners.

Qualifications

To be successful, you demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within a matrix business locally and regionally/globally. You have a demonstrable history of developing strong business partnerships and successful collaboration. Further requirements include:

  • Strong financial, analytical, and digital skills, results and performance driven.

  • Team-player and collaborative working style.

  • Motivated, flexible, and pro-active.

  • Strong communication skills & influencing skills, customer focus and proactive attitude, and ability to partner effectively with business.

  • Eager to take initiative, ability to work independently in an international and hybrid (virtual/on-site) environment and ability to deliver under strict timelines.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, SAP and Supply Chain & Cost Accounting experience is an asset.

  • Fluency in English is a requirement.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. MBA or master’s in finance is preferred.
