POSITION DESCRIPTION: Shag Bark Pet Retreat & Spa has an immediate position open in our spa department. We are a well established full service pet care facility offering Lodging, Training, and Daycare in addition to our full service Grooming Spa. We are looking for a career minded individual to prosper and grow within this department.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver superior grooming services to spa clientele
Provide customer service to grooming clientele
Monitor inventory and order supplies
Support marketing and promotional ideas withing the department
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of a reputable grooming school curriculum or equivalent experience
Grooming salon experience
Excellent customer service skills
Possess excellent dog handling skills; from large to small, shy to boisterous, affectionate to difficult and everything in between
Must exhibit excellent leadership qualities; able to motivate and direct staff; demonstrate high level of maturity and initiative
Able to meet the demands of a physically and mentally challenging job
Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
