Position Summary The Production Control Tech will be responsible for coordinating the product flow after the machining process through final inspection. This position will work with quality, accounting, manufacturing, and engineering to move product throughout the organization. This position will also communicate the status of the product with customers and outside vendors. Hours: Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts Responsibilities Essential Job Functions

  • Update the backlog daily
  • Verify all past due recovery rates are in place
  • Notify team members of the product or processes they need to meet the schedule
  • Maintain the daily shipment tab and ensure it is accurate and achievable
  • Track one day late explanations
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Participate in required company meetings
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S)
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program

Qualifications Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA's and certifications)

  • High School diploma or equivalent degree (GED)
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing role
  • Understanding of production requirements, processes, and materials
  • Understanding of schedules and planning principles and concepts
  • Understanding of inventory principles and concepts
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

  • Medical manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry (FDA, ISO)
