Position Summary The Laser Turret Operator sets up, adjusts, checks out programming and operates numerically controlled machine tools to perform a complex series of progressive turret punching operations on a diversified line of work to close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications requiring a high degree of skill, a broad knowledge of turret punching techniques and familiarity with and understanding of program formats involving combinations of operations to utilize the capacity of the machines and control factor. This role may set up machines for and instruct machine operator of a lower classification, and must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications. Shift: Weekend AM shift. - Operate Turret machine
- Operate Laser machine
- Check parts
- Read and complies with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists
- Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
- Accurately records and reports hours worked
- Maintain an organized work area (5S) to include workstations, equipment, walkways, and locker rooms
- Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
- Understand and complies with the Cretex professional competencies, company policies, and employee manual
- Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required
- Support and complies with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
- Complete all other work duties as assigned
