Participate in the product development process, including design brainstorming and voice of customer activity. Process Engineering Change Order (ECO) documentation, including the development of bills of material. Perform research and investigation to obtain missing information and to ensure all specifications are correctly presented on documentation. Use FEA (finite element analysis) tools to analyze parts and assemblies in static and dynamic environments. Research and present on a variety of current and next generation technologies. You Have: Completed 3 semesters and are working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering - minimum 1 semester SolidWorks & AutoCAD and 3.0 GPA preferred. Previous work and/or internship experience preferred. Ability to work in Anoka (relocation assistance not provided) full time, including overtime, for the term outlined. Knowledge of design standards and manufacturing processes. Basic knowledge/aptitude in mechanical, electrical or refrigeration for designing, assisting and directing the build of components and assemblies. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Abilities to work independently on projects after instruction or guidance, with good project management and organizational skills. Skill in written and oral communication with the ability to interface with people across multiple functional areas.
