DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job ID: 499670

Position Overview To use accepted methods to sample and test aggregates, or other materials for the purpose of quality and process control and/or acceptance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for own personal safety at all times, as well as maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job. Be familiar with and follow the CRH Life Saving Rules * Maintain productive working relationship with customers and fellow employees * Involved daily in the quality needs of the Annville facility * Perform lab analysis as required for each operational phase; core drill, mine samples, finished product, projects, and new product development work * Collect samples, prep, and test using laboratory apparatus and equipment to determine the sample characteristics * Where applicable assemble, operate, maintain, and calibrate field and laboratory testing and measuring equipment * Generate Certificates of Analysis for finished products where applicable * Prepare customer samples as needed * Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends including failed processes and corrective actions * Analyze data to predict potential problems and take preventive actions * Provide investigation, response, and follow up to product quality issues * Responsible for making product information available to sales department and qualified outside customers, this includes technical information, such as gradations. * Perform general cleaning of work areas * Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Other Requirements * Industry experience desirable but not necessary * Valid driver's license and and reliable source of transportation. * Strong communication skills and ability to network within the organization * Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times. * Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time * Strict adherence to the Pennsy Supply, Inc. Safety Manual and policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook. * Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as assigned. * Proficient with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Must submit to a drug screen and a criminal background check.

Education/Experience * High School Diploma or GED equivalent. * Previous experience helpful but not required.
