DESCRIPTION OF WORK At the Keystone State Challenge Academy (KSCA), Team Leaders (TLs) play a crucial role in engaging with the cadets who reside there. TLs utilize military principles and practices to guide and train the cadets within a quasi-military setting. Your objective in this role is to create a safe, secure, and structured environment that fosters growth and development for the cadets. As the newest addition to the National Guard Bureau Youth Challenge academies, the KSCA offers Pennsylvania's youth aged 16-18 an alternative education option, providing them with the opportunity to earn a high school diploma or equivalency in a residential, military-like setting.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours include various shifts. 24/7 coverage flexibility needed, alternating hours including occasional weekends Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in working with school age children (aged 6 to 21) or adults in an organized physical, recreational, educational, or related program; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Fort Indiantown Gap. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): A working knowledge of military customs and courtesies and drill and ceremony. Ability to conduct physical training with cadets Knowledge of at-risk teenage population
