Global Public Sector ECS S&L Solution Engineering Leader Role

Our Global Public Sector Solution Engineering team is looking for a leader that is innovating for future growth, championing to remove obstacles and coaching for growth and alignment.

The State & Local ECS business is a high-performing, high-velocity and high-growth team within our Global Public Sector business unit. We are constantly innovating to meet the changing needs of our customers, helping them move to a digital services and engagement model. A leader will utilize their knowledge of industry, technology and sales processes to drive how we go-to market today and tomorrow. They will align with their Sales leaders on sales strategy to optimize pipeline and deal execution, collaborate with their peers to define best practices and share resources and lead a talented team to secure the technical and functional win in every opportunity. The leader will actively work with their team members to support them throughout a deal cycle including demo dry runs, deal strategy, engaging specialists as needed, and identifying partner resources when required. They will coach and develop their team members to achieve their professional goals and build a culture of trust and transparency.

Responsibilities:

  • Support a high-volume, transactional sales organization balancing the demands of deal strategy, resource coverage, go to market assets, technical and functional support and customer success

  • Hire, on-board, coach and align resources and perform employee performance reviews and evaluations

  • Drive strategic initiatives and programs as needed to support the growth of the business

  • Actively support the teams career development and advancement

  • Communicate for buy-in and alignment with internal resources such as Sales Leadership, Product Development, Product Marketing, Customer Success and Executive Leadership

  • Motivate and inspire for high performance while maintaining balance and wellness

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc)

  • 3+ years of front-line SE leadership experience requested + experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to balance a high volume transactional business and a traditional enterprise sales model (Solution Selling)

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‐task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment + strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent fundamental Sales Skills (Value and Solution Selling) and advanced leadership skills

  • Proficient with CRM, Application Solution Selling and Infrastructure technologies and be able to present to a business or technical audience

  • Ability to lead through change in a dynamic, high-growth organization

  • Knowledge of advanced technologies and business processes including: Modern Web & Mobile Applications, Cloud Technologies and development, Customer Service trends and detailed business processes

  • Multi-Generational Leadership Skills

  • Public Sector Industry experience

  • Salesforce knowledge, certifications
