Jacobs O&M Engineering Lead - Remote in Annapolis, Maryland

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative O&M Engineering Leader. This role can be remote.

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • This position will provide engineering support for Jacobs O&M teams across the US.

  • These teams have capital improvement project needs that range from small equipment replacements to major facility expansion or rehabilitation.

  • You will be responsible for establishing and implementing processes for intake of project requests, working with the O&M project management to establish scope, schedule, and budget/funding for these activities and organizing Jacobs’ engineering resources to deliver the engineering deliverables necessary for project implementation.

  • Various project delivery models depending on facility owner requirements and project size and complexity may be used to implement the improvements.

  • This position will work closely with the Design-Build delivery group and the O&M technical services teams.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline

  • At least 8 years of experience in Design-Build of water, wastewater, water resources and / or conveyance type work.

  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in any US State

The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery that includes high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, some defined confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals as you would come to expect in the water and wastewater design build industry.

The base salary range for this position is $103,600 to $161,850. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
