Ford Motor Company Fleet Success Manager - Great Lakes in Annapolis, Maryland

The Fleet Success Manager will primarily generate new business through outbound prospecting and marketing while also handling inbound leads and dealership relationships. We are looking for an individual with experience as a true hunter and a passion for revenue generation in a startup environment. As part of the sales team, you will be accountable for consultative engagements with prospective clients and working within the team to deliver solutions matching their needs.

What you'll be able to do:

  • Generate new business leads and prospective clients via dealer channel engagement, networking, and outbound efforts

  • Individually manage and triage inbound leads for the Fleet Management products

  • Establish key relationships with customers, dealers, suppliers, and potential business partners

  • Handle customer relationships post onboarding, including upselling and customer experience management.

  • Represent Fleet Success Team at key dealer and customer meetings

  • Influence new user stories for feature development

  • Establish strong, positive working relationships across all Ford Pro Teams

Type of work to be performed:

  • Participate in pre-sales calls and demonstrate online products using web-based tools (Microsoft Teams, etc.) by telephone and in person.

  • Contracting and onboarding of new fleet software customers with support from the Ford Pro Business Center.

  • Participate in salesperson training centered around value-based consultative selling.

  • Support bi-annual account reviews as needed. Conduct bi-annual reviews and lead process for continuously improving these meetings to make valuable contributions to the fleet customer

  • Attend trade shows, dealer events, and national meetings as needed

You'll have...

  • High School/GED minimum

  • Candidate must reside in one of the following states: MI, OH, or IL

  • Three years of sales experience working in an outbound sales capacity, selling to Fleet customers

  • Three years of experience working for a Fleet Management Company

  • Candidate must be open to travel 50-75%

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Sales / service customer contact experience / fleet preferred

  • Prior experience in calling Dealerships

  • CRM software utilization

  • Ability to think creatively and operate in a multifaceted white space environment.

  • Strong social skills and an ability to work well within and across multiple functions

  • Adventurous and persuasive in pursuit of doing what's right for the business

  • Ability to prioritize and lead multiple concurrent assignments

  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail

  • Continuous improvement mentality
