Technical and Project Engineering LLC (TAPE) Senior Test Director in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

JOB SUMMARY
Serves as lead test manager. Provide Testing and Analysis, helps identify and assess project test risk. Develops risk mitigation strategies, conducts audits and reviews.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Experience in overseeing and performing IV&V and OT&E activities to include operational support.
Ability to write front-end and Back-end test cases, test documentation, defect/error reporting and test automation.
Supports independent validation and verification activities on large government agile software development program.
Reviews requirements, verifies system compliance with specifications, reviews configuration control and software documentation. Verifies performance, stress testing, and useability testing metrics.
Provides requirements and testing in agile system application development environment. Familiar with requirements and testing software used in SCRUM and SAFEe Agile Frameworks. Understand customers' needs and how to translate these into testable used stories.
Verifies stakeholder needs, are represented in user stories and are complete and accurate. Review the needs of the desired software or system enhancement and assures requirements cover exactly how the customer needs the software to function and what kind of tasks they must be able to perform.
Skilled in analyzing documentation with the ability to analyze Business Requirements documents, Functional Documents, and Technical Design Documents effectively.
Communicate test results, software errors, and UI defects to project leaders to ensure timely release delivery.
Active participation in sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospective meetings, sprint demos, and backlog grooming.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 7 years of experience
Desired System experience: Oracle SQL, JIRA, Java Programming, Selenium Test Automation
Desired Certifications: Certified Tester Foundation Level; Certified Agile Tester; Certified Scrum Master; Certified SAFe 4 Agilist; Certified CompTIA Security+
Bachelor’s Degree in related study
Secret Clearance
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Strong knowledge of programming languages and experience in API testing, performance testing, and database testing.
Must be familiar with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
