Acclaim Technical Services Operational Language Analyst - Chinese, Level 4 (2021-0096) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

We are actively hiring an Operational Language Analyst - Chinese, level 4 to join our Defense and Homeland Security Division working in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, t he Operational Language Analyst performs tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material

  • Gisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material

  • Scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials

  • Performing quality control review of translations and/or transcripts of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph

  • Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in both audio translation and text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English.

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent.

  • Equivalent of fifteen (15) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.

  • In lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted for a total of nineteen (19) years’ experience.
