FRENCH LAKE AUTO PARTS INC Scrap Metal and Vehicle Purchaser in Annandale, Minnesota

Historic French Lake Auto Parts, Inc. has been a leader in the automotive recycling industry for over 68 years. Our inventory is always expanding and the amount of scrap we process is always growing. Due to the continued growth in our company, we are looking to add to our team. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime. This position is responsible for assisting customer in our scrap metal and automobile recycling department. They are the first and last person the customer sees. Scrap Metal Responsibilities: -Greet customers when entering the building, assist them with sign in procedures, and inspect their scrap metal. -Direct the customers to the scale and advise them of prices and procedures for weighing and unloading their scrap metal. -Assist in calculating payout with deductions when applicable and issue payment. -Answer scrap metal questions via phone, email or in person. This position will identify and grade ferrous and non-ferrous metals to ensure customers are given the appropriate price while maintaining accurate records of all buying. Vehicle Purchasing Responsibilities: In person customers: -Greet customers when entering the building, assist them with sign in procedures, and inspect their vehicle(s). -Properly mark vehicles, take pictures, and verify vehicle information with documentation from customers. -Direct the customers to the scale and advise them of prices and procedures for weighing and unloading their vehicle. -Fill out proper paperwork, calculate cost for the vehicle, and/or administer payment. Customer Pick Ups: -Assist customers via phone or email in selling their vehicle. -Generate quotes for customers and obtain signed purchase form via Adobe. -Schedule pick up of vehicles with our driver or outside drivers, keeping the company s bottom line in mind. With a positive reputation after 68 years in the automotive recycling industry, we are always buying vehicles and scrap leaving no shortage of work.
