Job Summary:

The Vice President, Human Resources will provide strategic and tactical leadership for all human resources related functions including, but not limited to, employee engagement, benefits, compensation, and talent management on a global scale. This position will have a hybrid work schedule (in office/remote) located in Ann Arbor, MI.

Essential Functions:

  • Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

  • Maintain and evolve global HR strategy, compensation, benefits and talent acquisition with awareness of country norms and employment law regulations.

  • Lead, manage, and implement global human resources projects and initiatives.

  • Research, compile, and analyze workforce data.

  • Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve internal processes and increase company-wide productivity.

  • Identify and recommend HR software improvements and/or implementations.

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to all stakeholders.

  • Advise employees and management on the interpretation of global human resources policies, programs, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Lead the development and implementation of global employee engagement and retention programs.

  • Lead the research, development, and consistent implementation of programs aimed at embedded personnel. Assist in developing and retaining global employee satisfaction for all employees.

  • Oversee global employee outreach and onboarding programs.

  • Develop, implement, and communicate employee rewards programs.

  • Develop and oversee employee and manager roundtables and/or on-going educational series with regional HR Directors and Managers.

  • Involvement in corporate DEI programs as directed by the president.

  • Research, recommend, and develop new country benefit, policy, and compensation standards.

  • Coordinate implementation with local HR teams.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition in the implementation of such programs within the new hire workflows.

  • All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree (graduate a plus) with fifteen or more years of broad human resources management experience, global preferred. Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
