MILESTONE BONUS: Part Time or Full Time
$2,000 bonus after 150 productive, clinical hours are generated and documented!

In the Therapeutic Counselor role, bring your commitment and clinical skills to a team-based workplace that puts people first. With an office based in Ann Arbor, NeuroRestorative-MI is seeking a dynamic counselor to serve participants in Washtenaw County and neighboring Metro-Detroit communities. We serve participants in the office setting and in the home and community, when indicated. This autonomous and professional role offers flexible scheduling (hours that work for you!) and remote home access for planning and documentation, when appropriate. Part and Full Time positions available.
P rovide admission assessments in the areas of mental status, functioning, personality, behavioral response patterns, relationships, and meaningful activity.
Provide counseling to adolescents, and/or adults, using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis.
Work with individuals, and/or families, to address issues such as anxiety/depression, adjustment issues, addiction/substance abuse, stress, and problems with self-esteem, while offering strategies to promote healthy functioning.
Contribute to standardized admission, annual, and discharge functionality reports
Develop goals of treatment with targeted, functional objectives within POC. Collaborate with inter-disciplinary team and external stakeholders.
Provide individual counseling and support, as appropriate, to training program participant and family needs.
Facilitate/co-facilitate counseling groups, when indicated
Submit session documentation and reporting for each program participant served, indicating objectives, strategies and outcomes obtained.
Ensure evaluation, progress, and discharge reports on each program participant are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality.
Supervision of Masters’ prepared therapists’ with expansion of service line.
Master's Degree or Doctorate required (PsyD, PhD, LPC, LMSW necessary). Temporary licensure cannot be considered at this time.
Two years of relevant experience.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
