KLA-Tencor Corporation Software QA Engineer (MNJSQAEAA) in Ann Arbor, Michigan
Participate in software development life cycle with an understanding on how to establish test scenarios to validate functionality and robustness of the software releases. Develop detailed test cases covering all forms of testing for complex systems. Collaborate with Software, System and Application Engineers to develop test plans. Execute manual and automated test cases in Software UI, machine control, algorithms of complex systems. Interact with Algorithm Engineers, System Engineers, Applications Engineers, Marketing and Manufacturing teams, and Customer Support teams for various needs across the globe. Represent SQAE team in product life cycle and key program meetings. Perform verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable quality standards. Ensure that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements. Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products. Apply systems/applications-engineering level knowledge of highly complex, leading edge products by working with cross functional teams during the product development process. Telecommuting permitted. Salary range: $114,950 - $149,900 per year.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
