Job Summary
The School of Information is looking for a Senior Recruiting and Admissions Coordinator to join our dynamic and collaborative Office of Academic and Student Affairs team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, you will lead the design and implementation of activities that support the functional area of recruiting and admissions for our two residential master programs [Master of Science in Information (MSI) and Master of Health Informatics (MHI]), while helping us to work towards their recruitment and admissions strategic goals. You will independently develop recruitment and admissions strategies while monitoring national, campus, and school enrollment trends with attention and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Responsibilities*
Develop, and administer student recruitment and yield plans for Master of Science in Information (MS) and Master of Health Informatics (MHI) programs.
Contribute to the development of initiatives that directly support UMSI and University diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals for recruitment and admissions.
Counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the School of Information and the University.
Provide project management and detailed reporting throughout the admissions cycle.
Be a functional supervisor of temporary student staff including the support of hiring, training, coordinating workflow, prioritizing effort, leading projects, and providing ongoing development.
Support ongoing analysis of current procedures and identify opportunities for benchmarking best practices based on national guidelines; make data-informed recommendations to Recruitment and Financial Aid leadership.
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in campus recruiting, admissions, program administration, or a progressively responsible position in a similar field using related skills.
Represent the School of Information positively through a student-centered approach.
Familiarity with admissions and review systems including ApplyWeb, CollegeNet Admit, and Wolverine Access.
Work Schedule
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required. May require working during non-business hours and on weekends.
Work Locations
This is a hybrid position. Will require travel to multiple locations on & off campus. Will occasionally require domestic travel.
