Clarivate Analytics US LLC Director, Business Operations in Ann Arbor, Michigan

We are looking for a Director of Business Operations to join our team. You will be part of the Product Business Unit leadership team, supporting the BU with multiple business-related areas such as business process improvement, generating business insights, defining and tracking BU KPIs, driving and following up on BU strategic initiatives and serving as a BU liaison with both the ITS and the sales and marketing org.

About You - education, experience, skills, and accomplishments

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration or related field or other relevant topic.

At least 7 years of experience in Sales operations, Business operations, Business administration, Project management, or Program management.

It would be great if you also had...

Knowledge of Lead-To-Cash processes

Previous experience working with C-level executives.

Advanced degree in business related field such as M.A or MBA

Previous experience or knowledge of the Higher Education industry.

Previous experiences with Salesforce (certification would be a plus).

What will you be doing in this role?

Identify BU business process bottlenecks and areas for improvements.

Drive business process & systems improvement programs collaborating with functions across Academia & Government (A&G) and Clarivate.

Run data analysis activities to provide insights to BU leadership team supporting strategics planning and growth.

Improve data accuracy and implement processes to enable accurate, insightful data analysis.

Collaborate with BU leadership to identify and define BU KPIs.

Create KPIs calculation & reporting methodology.

Periodically track and report on KPIs; Identify risk and drive actions accordingly.

Generate business performance reports and presentations (MBRsQBRs).

Follow up on Business performance (e.g., pipeline and forecast).

Drive collaborative sales & BU routines (e.g., BMFs, Forecast reviews etc.).

Run Sales & BU initiatives to accelerate growth and improve business performance (e.g., targeted sales reach out to at-risk population).

Lead new offerings' rollout including process & system set up, sales enablement and adoption.

Identify and comprehensively define BU business requirements.

Present BU prioritization in release planning process.

Follow up and support execution and roll out.

Collaborate with the BU leadership team to define and implement managerial routines.

Drive and facilitate BU strategy sessions.

Follow up on progress and execution of BU action plans and strategic Initiatives.

About the Team

The role reports to the Vice President, Business Operations. You will join a global team of Business operations experts that support the Academic & Government business collaborating with all org functions, such as: Product, Global Sales & Marketing, and IT through our management team.

Hours of Work Full time, permanent Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required
