Job Summary

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex financial, statistical, and competitor price data and recommending price changes to improve profitability.

This is a hybrid role with Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursday out of the office. Successful candidate will work from an office located in Ontario ( Brampton or Kitchener), Quebec (Anjou or Longueuil) or Alberta (Calgary)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Implements and maintains pricing infrastructures.

  • Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed.

  • Recommends and implements monthly price increases and coordinates with Sales and Billing for implementation.

  • Collects and analyzes complex financial, statistical, and strategic information in order to maintain pricing tools.

  • Creates and analyzes advanced reports for customer and route profitability.

  • Audits billing and services to monitor customer changes and set ups.

  • Provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales department, but not customers.

  • May provide support and direction to less experienced pricing analysts.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory duties but may occasionally act as a team lead.

Qualifications

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

  • Financial and statistical analysis and waste industry experience required.

  • Bilingual French and English considered an asset
