WM Area Sales Trainer - Bilingual / Formateur commercial régional - bilingue in Anjou, Quebec

I. Job Summary
This position primarily provides a level of expertise in facilitating and supporting production of virtual classroom learning, evaluating participant performance, providing feedback, and coaching to reinforce learning. Prepares for learning events, conducts classroom management, facilitates courseware, and conducts assessments. Implements and maintains processes, procedures and programs to ensure a positive learning experience for participants to acquire and apply the program’s concepts. Secondarily, this position collaborates with Learning Engagement on initiatives to enhance the learning experience and is introduced to beginner level development of training materials and supervisor duties.
Role Designation: This role is remote with 60-70% travel to facilitate training. The ideal candidate will live in the Kitchener ON, Brampton ON or Anjou QC area.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Uses the instructional materials (Instructor Guides, learning objectives, assessments, activities) and content to prepare and execute the learning intervention to ensure mastery of the training objectives
Facilitates training courseware and practice activities (group discussion, brainstorming, questioning) to ensure mastery of training objectives.
Coordinates the delivery and instruction of material for both new and existing training offerings.
Selects the appropriate learning modes (energizers, icebreakers, games, simulations, role-plays, etc.) to engage trainees in active learning to maximize on the job performance
Uses various instructional strategies (guided learning, hands on exercises, classical approaches) to ensure the content is delivered given the learning environment
Guides a group to acquire skills, make decisions, or complete tasks by use of facilitation techniques.
Uses classroom management techniques to engage trainees, manage unproductive participant behavior, respond to unexpected issues, and keep trainees focused on the task at hand
Seeks to understand the true nature of the performance gap (what it is and why it exists)
Performs needs assessments of participants during classroom instruction.
Develops a holistic view of performance problems, identifies root causes, and suggests training-based solutions.
Uses appropriate delivery skills; voice, body movement, gesture, eye contact, question handling, etc. to engage the trainees.
Works independently with project management aptitude.
Attends to all classroom set up (communications, evaluations, recaps, pre-work, materials requests, LMS requirements, room set up and breakdown etc.) to ensure scheduled session is prepared and productive throughout.
Attends to all classroom close out tasks (communications, evaluations, recaps, materials requests, LMS requirements, etc.) to ensure scheduled session is properly tracked.
Manages any assigned tasks or projects.
Observes, evaluates and coaches learners as needed (post-training) based on performance and engagement.
Guided by Manager, evaluates and coaches trainers based on performance and post-course feedback.
Collaborates with and mentors team members to improve overall success and support company key objectives.
Reviews edits and enhancements in training curriculum and materials on an as needed basis.
Participates in team planning activities to assist with implementing and training related strategic initiatives.
Assists with development of training materials.
Participates with Manager and clients to identify and prioritize training needs.
Consult and partner with key stakeholders.
Analyzes training related metrics and develops insights that highlight impact and adoption of training programs and its correlation to business outcomes.
Facilitates and promotes changes related to a business initiative are supported and implemented, ensuring achievement of organizational goals.
Successfully deliver high-quality training across an array of course offerings and programs.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory duties but may occasionally act as a team lead.
IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Must reside and work in Canada.
A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or Education, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Five (5) years of relevant work experience delivering and facilitating training programs (in addition to education requirement).

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Bilingual - French & English - spoken and written - We require a bilingual speaking Trainer because this role requires frequent interactions and communications with employees who are located outside of Quebec.
Technical aptitude
Proficient with Microsoft Office and preferred experience with Microsoft OneDrive
Proficient with learning metrics and analytics to measure the impact of learning solutions.
Experience with learning management systems and creating reports.
Proficient in verbal and written communication
Able to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication

The expected base pay range for this position in Canada is $80k - $100k. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.
