Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Maintenance Technicians to join our organized and efficient maintenance department. You will be part of a union shop, handling both reactionary (60%) and preventative (40%) maintenance. You will work on a variety of machines including resistance welders, presses, molding machines, and robotic arms, with a mix of older and newer equipment ensuring a varied daily experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

• Work on resistance welders, presses, molding machines, and robotic arms.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Conduct PLC troubleshooting.

• Maintain an organized tool crib and utilize the custom-built CMMS for managing PM's and work orders.

Essential Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot 480v systems.

• Proficiency in reading hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.

• Experience in preventive maintenance.

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa Robots.

• Trade school or maintenance certificates are a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in a unionized facility with a mix of older and newer equipment. The maintenance department is highly organized with a custom-built CMMS system. Second shift hours are from 3pm to 10pm, and daily overtime is voluntary. Technicians will work every other weekend.

This is a Permanent position based out of Angola, Indiana.

The pay range for this position is $54059.20 - $60881.60
