Summary: Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Log repairs, work order maintenance and preventive maintenance on necessary documents/logs.
• Availability for overtime with or without advance notice
• Other duties as assigned by management staff

Education/Experience:

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills:

Word processing, Spreadsheets, E-mail
