Description We are in search of a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team situated in Andover, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be handling credit applications and maintaining customer credit records. Additionally, you will monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect overdue payments. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records consistently

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage customer data

• Employ Microsoft Excel for report generation and data analysis

• Perform accounting functions as required

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) matters

• Manage billing functions and check processing

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Excel

• Demonstrated ability in executing Accounting Functions is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is a key requirement

• Knowledge and experience in Check Processing is desirable
