Covington County Commission Full-Time Mechanic in Andalusia, Alabama
Full-time Mechanic with the Countywide Road Department in the General Fund Shop. This position requires mechanical knowledge on all types of gasoline/diesel vehicles and equipment, troubleshooting and repair knowledge of various circuits and engine components. Will perform periodic oil and lube maintenance, brake jobs and tune ups along with minor transmission repairs. Capable of being certified in Carrier A/C warranty repairs and Ricon wheelchair lift repair. ASE Certified preferred but not required. Must be able to complete required records and reports for all departments. Requires a Class B Driver's License. Starting pay will depend on qualifications and experience.
