We are a busy pile-driving company, and we're hiring dedicated piledrivers, welders and laborers to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, loading and unloading frequently heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. We frequently work on government projects with Davis-Bacon wages.

All of our positions are full-time, with regular overtime, but we offer both year-round and seasonal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Operate booms, hoists, excavators and other moving, drilling or lifting equipment
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL is preferred, but not required
• Reliable transportation to the main shop
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and perform other strenuous tasks
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willing to assist in all aspects of projects
• Strong ability to follow directions from others
• Attention to detail
• Previous pile-driving and/or welding experience is a bonus

Job Information:

• Typically 8-10 hour days, M-F
• Occasional weekends during the busy summer season
• Starting pay - $22-$30 per hour, DOE;
• Location(s) - Anchorage-based, but most of our jobs run from Girdwood to the MatSu Valley, with occasional work in areas like Talkeetna, Fairbanks, Soldotna and other locations
• Transportation to work sites, lodging and per diem (as needed) provided by the company
