We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, managing, and implementing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing sustainable solutions to complex environmental challenges
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and manage environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation, and environmental monitoring.
Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and prepare technical reports.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Design and implement pollution control and waste management systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address environmental concerns.
Monitor environmental data and recommend improvements or solutions.
Provide technical support for permitting, compliance, and remediation activities
Develop sustainable engineering solutions and advise on best practices.
Communicate findings and project updates to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) certification
Minimum of 7 years experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA, RCRA, CERCLA, etc.).
Proficiency in engineering design software and data analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, MATLAB).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work in both office and field settings, sometimes in challenging conditions.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills :
Experience with environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs).
Knowledge of air quality management, water resources engineering, or waste management.
Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and modeling software.
Experience with planning, logistics, and fieldwork in remote locations.
Authorized Driver Requirement: Employee must have a valid driver’s license and three (3) year clean driving record. Employee must follow all Authorized Driver Policy and Procedures regarding approved vehicle usage.
