Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated A&P Mechanic to perform line maintenance on Boeing 747, 767, and 777 aircraft in an outdoor line station environment. The role involves responding to customer maintenance calls, repairing and replacing interior parts, fluids, and components as needed, and signing off on airworthiness. You will work in teams of 3-4 mechanics under a lead, supporting airlines with varying flight volumes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform line maintenance on Boeing 747, 767, and 777 aircraft.

  • Respond to customer maintenance calls promptly.

  • Repair and replace interior parts, fluids, and components as needed.

  • Sign off on airworthiness after maintenance tasks are completed.

  • Work collaboratively in teams of 3-4 mechanics under a lead.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance on 747 or 767.

  • A&P license.

  • Experience with Boeing 747, 767, and 777 aircraft.

  • 1+ years of line maintenance experience.

  • Must own basic tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Open to entry-level candidates.

  • General Familiarization training preferred on either 747-400, 747-8, or 767.

  • 4+ years of recent experience on 747/777/767 highly preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment involves 4-hour shifts with three available shifts: 6am - 4pm, 12pm - 10pm, and 9pm - 7am. Most maintenance takes place from 12pm - 4pm, which involves shift overlap for maximum exposure to maintenance tasks. New hires usually train on morning or afternoon shifts for the best learning experience. All line maintenance is performed outside, and tasks may require working at significant heights, especially when repairing components on the tail.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anchorage, Alaska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $63.00/hr.
