Climatec, LLC Service Account Specialist Level I (Building Automation) in Anaheim, California
Level Descriptions:
Level I – Must be able to achieve many objectives of this position. Requires some amount of timely supervision to ensure the proper tasks are being accomplished and that communication is adequate, timely, in the correct manner (i.e. verbal, written, email, etc.).
Level II - Consistently achieves all the objectives of this position. This individual also provides mentoring and direct day-to-day supervision to level I positions.
Senior - Highly experienced in the position. Advanced awareness of the technical needs of controls system programming, integrations to other systems, and very sophisticated HVAC strategies if working in the control field.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinates with the Service Coordinator if applicable to manage the scheduling of specialists for all service agreements
Coordinates with the Service Coordinator if applicable to manage the day-to-day scheduling for emergency and T&M projects
Coordinates with the Service Coordinator if applicable to manage service retrofit projects
Coordinates with the Service Coordinator if applicable to manage the receipt, verification for accuracy, and entering of service work orders and employee time sheets
Is engaged with service customers, ensuring Climatec BTG meets and exceeds our commitments to our customers
Provides ideas and technical support to customer and service sales as required for the generation of additional work to be added to the TSA, performed as T&M, or booked as service retrofit
Coordinates with service sales as applicable for TSA renewal and escalation
Routinely performs customer QA’s informally as well as formally when scheduled
Follows up on customer issues in a timely fashion as established by customer and other Climatec BTG employees insuring timely, accurate, and pertinent communication as required both verbally and/or in writing
Provides project management on TSA’s, T&M, and service retrofit work
Coordinates with the Material Coordinator to ensure employee truck stocks are kept accurate and material used from them is replaced in an accurate and timely fashion
Works closely with the Collections department and other employees as required insuring timely collections for T&M, service agreements, and service construction
Coordinates material orders and timing with Material Coordinator to maximize cash flow and material handling efficiency
Coordinates with Subcontractors or internal installation team to achieve maximum value in installations
Provide support to Climatec and other contractors to solve building operating issues that go beyond the controls or special systems operation
Communicate with internal employees as required to ensure Climatec labor is accurate and timely and estimated productivity is achieved in all areas
Provide leadership and input to others as requested or required to assist in the accurate estimation, design, installation, start up, commissioning, and training for building systems
Communicate with external organizations as required such as consulting engineers, building owners, and other contractors to ensure accurate and timely engineering
Provide support for ongoing service engineering and support for existing building systems
Keep service management system updated and employ it to achieve maximum productivity
Assist with collections
Participate in an on-call rotation and be available after hours as needed.
Required travel up to 45% within the state, with occasional overnight stays

Skills & Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma.
At least 5 years of Executive Level Customer Service experience.
At least 2 years of Sales Experience and Account Management.
Understanding of basic computer systems, including the MS Office Suite of products.
Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
Empathy and creativity in understanding and resolving issues to achieve successful outcomes for customers and employees.
Demonstrated experience in effectively assisting both internal teams and external clients/customers.
Travel up to 45% within the state, with occasional overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two-year technical degree in HVAC or Electronics related studies.
At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field (HVAC, Electronics, or related areas).
At least 2 years of sales experience.
Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or other related studies.
Other technical experience such as military training or on-the-job training programs, as determined by local management.
Experience with Distech and Niagara systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Be able to lift and carry ladders, drawings, personal computers, material, etc.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Be able to spend significant time standing and walking on construction sites.
Be able to climb several flights of stairs or ladders throughout a typical day on a construction site.
Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Climatec’s vehicle policy, allows the individual to drive on company business.
Be physically able to kneel, stoop and crawl.
