Carrington Remote Relationship Manager, Correspondent in Anaheim, California

Act as the single point of contact both internally and externally to support communication between the Correspondent Seller and the various departments throughout the process of the loan. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $25.00/ HR to $28.00/ HR.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with internal staff and the Correspondent Seller to ensure complete Seller coverage is maintained

  • Internal support for any issues/escalations required by the AE and/or the Seller

  • Provides loan status throughout the Underwriting process

  • Works with Account Executive to maintain pipeline

  • Maintains highly confidential information concerning loan applicants

  • Monitors incoming documents from the Seller for accuracy

  • Conduct new seller training

  • Assist Seller with guideline questions and seller portal

  • Maintain a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers

  • Ability to multi task and meet deadlines

  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions

What you'll need:

  • Knowledge of mortgage industry and loan documents

  • Strong working knowledge of loan operating systems, preferably Encompass 360.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong computer skills (i.e. use of the Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and use of office machines such as copiers, scanners and fax machines.

  • Requires high level of organizational skills and ability to work on several files simultaneously

  • Constant contact with borrowers, brokers, agent, loan officers and internal office staff

  • Significant coordination of various duties required.

  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to organize, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and handle detailed assignments

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail

  • High school diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in the mortgage industry

  • Strong experience with FHA and conventional loans

  • Experience working in a paperless environment preferred
