Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Development Manager to support a leading company within the energy and engineering consulting space in Anaheim, CA. This role will be supporting the company from a corporate level to drive strategic initiatives for business units ranging from energy to engineering consulting services. As a part of serving the corporate business development team your primary focus will be managing proposals and projects and collaborating with cross-functional departments to open up opportunities for growth. Below is a break-down of day-to-day responsibilities:

 - Business Development - Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the clean energy/engineering sector. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.

 - Proposal and Presentation Management - Lead the development and management of proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients, partners, and investors. Ensure that all materials are compelling and aligned with our clean energy solutions.

 - Collaboration - Work closely with various departments, including Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance, to gather information, align strategies, and provide cross-functional support to achieve business development goals.

 - Client Relationship Management - Foster strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners. Maintain regular communication to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.

 - Market Research - Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in the clean energy sector. Use market insights to drive the development of new business ventures.

 - Travel - Some travel (up to 30%, typically in waves related to specific pursuits), both domestic and potentially international, may be required to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-10 years of Business Development experience

   - Previous industry experience within the Engineering and Energy space

   - Proficient in MS Suite Products (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel)

   - Experience with full lifecycle of proposal development

   - Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills

   - Minimum of a Bachelors Degree (Business, Engineering, Sustainability or related field) - Previous Engineering experience

Masters Degree or Additional Professional Certifications null
