Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Day Production Technician position is responsible for assignments as delegated by the Plant Manager or Production Manager. In general, these assignments include assistance with operations for identifying and correcting operational issues, generating and updating operating procedures and key operating documents, training, permitting, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance and adherence with safety processes and procedures. This position is normally a day shift position, some shift work including nights and weekends is also required as needed for safe and continued operation of the facility. Meets or exceeds the company's safety goals, standards and policies Participates in LIVES program Fully supports, instills, and reinforces corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental policies / procedures and relevant documentation at the facility Assists and supports Plant Manger in maintaining a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly operating facilityProvide or coordinates all regulatory training and maintain documentation of training of the production technicians. Actively demonstrates leadership skills in daily operational duties Ensuring pertinent operating documentation and reporting requirements are satisfactorily and efficiently met Coordinates production and maintenance tasks within facility without interrupting customer product delivery Develop and provide training for local plant technicians as assigned by Plant Manager Monitors key operational parameters daily and assists in ensuring the plant is optimized Performs daily walk through the plant to identify and ensure potential operational or equipment threats are addressed Assists with in-depth process troubleshooting Assists and works closely with Plant Management with daily facility needs including Operational guidance for Operation's team Assists in improving the operating knowledge of the operating techs as opportunities are identified Administrative function responsibilities as delegated by Plant Manager Development of training documentation and maintenance of training records Maximo work order generation and coordination of maintenance activities with plant operations Maintaining site-specific Standard Operating Procedures, P&ID's, PFD's, and all other technical documentation as related to operational or equipment processes Actively participating in and suggesting plant innovation and improvement projects Escorting on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors throughout facility as needed Active participation in plant safety meetings and inspections Fostering good customer relations Shift Coverage and Rotation Follows policies and procedures on proper notification procedures for vacation scheduling, floating holidays, and personal days off Fills in for emergency shift coverage as situations warrant Acts as Weekend and off-shift On-Call person fo
