Trihydro Corporation Mid/Senior-Level Geochemist in Anaconda or Butte, Montana
Mid/Senior-Level Geochemist - Anaconda or Butte, MT Trihydro, one of the top environmental and engineering consulting firms in the country, has an opening for a Mid- or Senior-level Geochemist. The ideal candidate will join our Mining Services business unit and assist in providing clients with effective, responsive, and safe solutions to contamination from past and current mining activity. As a member of our team, you will support our diverse range of clients from Fortune 100 companies to the federal government, to local communities nationwide to continuously improve human health and the environment. In your role, you will support sampling of soil and water; analytical strategies; remediation implementation; geochemical modeling; technical report preparation; project management assistance; and data management and interpretation. This position may also involve the preparation of environmental permits and plans. The position may occasionally require working at remote site locations but will primarily be based in an office. Self-motivation, the ability to work with a team, and a strong work ethic are required. This position is also responsible for the stewardship of health and safety programs at active sites and communicating with project management and client(s) concerning site activity. Applicants must have a clean driving record and a commitment to safe operations. The preferred candidate will be based in our Anaconda or Butte, MT office, although other Trihydro offices such as Austin (TX), Laramie (WY), or Lakewood (CO) could be considered. Required Qualifications 4+ years of relevant experience with environmental remediation or sampling A bachelor’s degree in geochemistry, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or similar Solid written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members Experience handling large data sets A commitment to safe work practices Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule Dependable, with the ability to work in a team environment The ability to occasionally travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices The ability to work independently and the maturity to seek help when needed Fluency in Microsoft Office programs is mandatory.
