Hiring range: $46.13 - $63.42 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure:
Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the client server team. Ensuring all servers and systemsare up to date and patched appropriately.
Oversee the network refresh initiative, apply critical thinking to ensure a successful delivery.
Ensure the appropriate system monitoring is in place and functioning as expected.Recruit and train new employees.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Work with the management team to oversee all budget items.
Assess current environment, identify gaps, and work to remediate findings.
Plans, coordinates, a variety of operations within the cloud-based services.
Incident Management:
·Ensure all incidents are logged within our tracking system.
Document Incident management processes and procedures.
Prioritize and categorize incidents based on urgency and impact on business operations.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Work with, and guide staff through highly technical challenges, leveraging technical acumen, as well as common sese and sound judgement.
Assist when needed to diagnose and resolve network, and server hardware and software problems for the hospital.
Collaborate with our third-party IT support vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues
Documentation:
Update and maintain accurate records of all networks, and client server architecture. Including Is inventory of technical assets.
Disaster Recovery documentation.
Update knowledge base articles for common issues to facilitate self-service as needed.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with end-users and colleagues, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear and concise exchange of technical information.
Keep end-users informed of incident progress and resolution timelines
Human Resources:
Responsible for working with the Human Resources Department in the hiring/interview/onboardingprocess. Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.Trains, coaches, and evaluates assigned staff on performance expectations.
Applies progressivediscipline when appropriate. Participates in hiring and termination procedures.
Complete annual and probationary evaluations and required employee job competency documentation.
Responsible for managing the review and approval of the timekeeping system, including but not limited to, time off requests, and bi-weekly payroll sign-off. Responsible for managing staff meal breaks to be in compliance with NYS labor law.
Education:
Associates degree in Information Technology required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience managing a technical team required. ·
Demonstrated hands-on experience with network infrastructure.
Must have an understanding of complex multi layered networks. Including WIFI.
Demonstrated experience in cloud computing, and MS365, and Azure. · Familiar with cloud solutions and system virtualization required.
Experienced in disaster recovery processes and procedures required
Must be proficient in IS security techniques and procedures.
Certifications / Licensure:
- Cisco Certified Network Administrator preferred.
