Job Purpose

  • Act as the in-region executive leader for DCS, ensuring the delivery of growth, customer, people and financial targets

  • Strategic leadership and development of the in-country teams and co-ordination of external resources, both in and out of country, to support the business

  • Lead company and statutory Health, Safety and Quality compliance and standards

  • Drive sustainable profitable growth in line with business goals and objectives aligned to the DCS strategic plan

  • Deliver customer retention and win new business

  • Lead the management and development of employees across the organization (operational, sales, contract support and management) making sure that the company culture and behaviours are displayed at all times

  • Develop and deliver a sustainable and profitable project management business

  • Own the preparation and delivery of country budgets and four-year strategic planning process

  • The Regional MD has full decision-making responsibility and full P&L and budgetary control

Success will be measured by the overall performance of the business. Specific measures include:

  • Exceptional QHSE compliance and accident record

  • A strategically aligned business model with the Americas, APAC & Europe Division2

  • Business development and growth

  • Establishment of fully functional and self-sustaining Business Unit/s

  • A fully recruited, trained team with established succession

  • Brand recognition throughout the Critical Data Centre market

Desired skills / experience

  • Commercial acumen

  • Strong influencing / networking skills

  • Ability to understand commercial and financial metrics

  • Internal and external client management

  • Industry knowledge in critical environment and/or data centre environments and one or more of the following: M&E, facilities management, projects, building or ICT services

  • Excellent presentation skills - written, verbal and presentation

  • Previous experience in a senior or executive management role which has included responsibility for services, culture, people and business growth

  • Dealing with a range of people from junior to senior level including site employees, suppliers and customers

  • Worked within a matrix organisation
