Avanade Inc. Data Protection Solution Architect in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Introduction:

As a Data Protection Solution Architect within Avanade, you get the unique opportunity to help our clients solve complex and cutting-edge Data Protection business challenges across the Microsoft 365 platform, end-user devices, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures. You will be part of presales engagement to develop and tailor the solutions for the client.

As a member of our security practice, you will be working for clients ranging from medium to large global enterprises. In this client-facing consultancy role, you will work on exciting projects that transform our client’s Security strategy and operations through the design and implementation of predominantly Microsoft Treat Protection technologies. Next to your client-facing role, you will utilize your knowledge and expertise to work on solution deals as part of presales engagements.

What you’ll do:

  • Advise and consult clients on Data Protection and Compliance strategies.

  • Collaborate effectively within global teams and independently.

  • Design and implement Microsoft Defender and Purview solutions to meet compliance needs.

  • Understand and address business, privacy, security, and compliance challenges in Migration or Transformation projects.

  • Lead Data Protection and Compliance projects to exceed client expectations.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks through creative problem-solving.

About you:

You are an experienced Data Protection Solution Architect, interested in joining our security practice, and have experience in consulting and advisory discussions with clients and other consulting firms. With your passion for Microsoft Security solutions and the ambition to deepen your knowledge, you can develop yourself in the coming years, and bring value to our Security community.

  • You have worked with one or multiple of the following Microsoft Information Protection such as Securing Office 365, leveraging Microsoft Security Score;

  • You have experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI, etc);

  • You have a good understanding of Data Governance, Data protection concepts, encryption, and Data Loss Protection;

  • You are understanding techniques and approaches toward the protection of data stored in Microsoft solutions or platforms (Azure storage, databases, and applications);

  • You have one or more relevant certifications such as AZ-500, SC-400, SC-100, SSCP, CCSP, or CISSP.

  • Please note: for this role you need to have EUR residence.
