About the r ole

As the Account Director, you are the primary point of contact for our global client, responsible for managing and strengthening the client-agency relationship. You will lead strategic projects, oversee campaign execution, and ensure high-quality service delivery across always-On content, sponsorships, campaigns and various brand initiatives. Your role is crucial in aligning agency efforts with client's vision, ensuring seamless collaboration, and driving impactful marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Build and maintain a trusted partnership with our global client;

  • Understand the brand’s objectives, industry trends, and competitive landscape;

  • Collaborate with the client at a strategic level to shape long-term plans and drive business growth;

  • Challenge and inspire clients with innovative ideas that elevate their marketing efforts;

  • Ensure budgets are well-managed and optimized for maximum campaign impact.

Operational & Project Management

  • Lead weekly and daily kickoffs, providing clear direction to the team;

  • Oversee campaign production from brief to execution, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time delivery;

  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and project management teams to maintain quality and consistency;

  • Monitor budgets, track forecasts, and ensure projects remain financially healthy and billable;

  • Keep a pulse on industry trends and social media innovations to drive fresh, forward-thinking campaigns.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage and mentor a team of 3-5 direct reports, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture;

  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and professional development discussions;

  • Ensure team morale remains high by organizing team-building activities and fostering a motivating work environment;

  • Address team capacity, ensuring adequate coverage while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
