During your internship you will gain experience within Business Control where you will look at the performance of our brands from both an internal and external data perspective and with a commercial and analytical mindset. You will work in the Food BeNeLux Finance team, where you will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Category Management, E-business, other Finance departments and Operations. From 15th of January 2025, we are looking for a new Finance intern.

In context of the high inflationary and volatile environment and the challenges this brings to businesses, you will be part of a driven, enterprising and hands-on team. During your internship you will be guided to grow both personally and in function. You will learn about various facets of business controlling, such as tracking performance, calculating business cases & managing a P&L. In your collaboration with others, you will come into contact with many elements of business management and experience what it is like to work in a multi-cultural environment.

As Finance Intern you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Monthly tracking of the performance of the P&L of our different brands at both product and customer level;

  • Calculating business cases and P&L scenarios;

  • Assist in the managing and adjusting the P&L on a monthly, quartertly, and annual basis;

  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations;

  • Data Management of both internal and external data.

This is what you bring for the vacancy Finance intern:

You have strong commercial insight, excellent analytical skills, and at the same time you are able totranslate figures into concrete insights & advice. You like to connect with others but also feel comfortable working independently. You have a hands-on mentality and when you see an opportunity, you like to take initiative and help out. You are able to separate main and secondary issues and work in a structured manner when preparing and carrying out your work. You know how to communicate numbers to others, depending on the target group. In addition, you are or have;

  • HBO or WO Student Business Economics, Finance, Accounting (or similar);

  • You are fluent in Dutch and you also have a good command of the English language

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel is a requirement;

  • You like working with numbers;

  • You have a desire to learn, grown and develop;

  • You are good at problem solving.
