Position Summary:
The Associate Manager, Event Marketing, collaborates and aligns with commercial leadership and Marketing to determine an event strategy that supports regional business. They execute show themes, product focus, and secure technology, services, and collateral that meet requirements.
Essential Functions:
Researches and identifies potential exhibition opportunities; maintains calendar of current events; and updates the web page accordingly
Works with management and event vendors to ensure implementation is within budget and on-time
Develops and presents pre- and post-show reports to management
Communicates event information with all internal stakeholders with Creative and Marketing team to build marketing materials and communications, inclusive of social media and email marketing campaigns for events, compelling marketing messages to promote our activities at society events
Coordinates staff and surgeon KOL’s attendance, flight, hotel, transportation, etc.
Manages on-site activities including booth set-up, dismantle, receptions, workshops, dinners, hands-on labs and other promotional activities
Collaborates with Marketing and logistics to secure product and equipment for demonstration purposes and ensure timely arrival of materials at events
Collaborates with Marketing and Surgeon KOLs to ensure content of workshops is effective and within regulatory and compliance guidelines
Re-stocks and maintains event inventory
Maintains all Event trackers, reports and calendars
Maintains accurate documentation of all event processes and provides cross-training to other team members as needed
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of current, relevant meeting and event management experience
Fluent in English and Italian
Proficient in use of Microsoft office suite
Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
Ability to manage stress and conflicting priorities within demanding deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to efficiently complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Proactive with the ability to “think on your feet” to find the best solutions
Ability to travel 30%, including weekends. Time will be compensated
Preferred:
Tradeshow experience
Ability to speak English, Italian and Spanish is a 'nice to have' as the person will also be managing events in Spain.
International event and meeting planning experience
Experience managing events for medical device or pharmaceutical industries
Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and build standard templates, processes, and deliverables
Ability to quickly learn scientific and technical information
Creative thinker
