Job Description

Procter & Gamble Amiens plant, located in the Somme department, is the largest P&G production site in Europe and the 2nd largest in the world. We specialize in the production of household and cleaning products and every day we produce millions of bottles of trusted brands like Ariel®, Lenor® and Febreze® to serve our consumers around the world.

The Material, Process & Delivery (MPD) department is at the heart of our supply chain and is responsible for putting into production new packaging materials that are developed by our Research & Development (R&D) center in order to bring about quality, process or innovation improvements.

Joining the MPD department as a Packaging Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for :

  • Contributing to the process and quality improvement: work on the defects of our incoming materials that impact the performance of our packaging lines via the follow-up of quality action plans with our suppliers

  • Managing new packaging industrialization projects in production with our international interfaces such as R&D, Central Packaging Design and Purchasing on all product categories of the plant (for example, Ariel®, Lenor® and Febreze®). You will also contribute to the definition and development of qualification test plans to achieve project success criteria and follow up on projects to digitize our process tools.

Job Qualifications

We are looking for:

  • You are student in Engineering School/Master degree in Production Process or Packaging

  • A first experience in chemistry domain or in industry is appreciated

  • Demonstrated success in effective leadership, problem solving and priority setting
