Financial Analyst Amherst, MA Salary range \$80 - \$90k We are hiring for our client in Amherst, MA. We are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to support their 2700+ customer base by assisting in the compiling reliable data and financial insight analyses to be used in decision-making and planning. This includes: Conducting quantitative analyses of member spend on goods and services under contract Benchmarking contract pricing against pricing offered by competitors and deciphering trends that can be capitalized on Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports as required Producing reports for Board of Directors meetings Working collaboratively with customers and colleagues on projects and initiatives that drive revenue and growth Participating in the development of the organization\'s financial plan and proactively suggesting adjustments to remain on or to exceed the target Analyzing and reporting on revenue vs projections and budget Identifying opportunities for process and continuous improvement across the organization These are the traits you\'ll need to be successful Customer Centric - The customer\'s needs are our highest priority Driven. Taker of data and turning it into opportunity Education/Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Finance required 4+ years of FP&A experience in a business to business environment Success at tactically putting together reporting and analysis reports using data from various sources Exceptional analytical skills and handling complex issues and problem Advanced excel skills Can think critically and solve problems independently Thinks creatively while paying strict attention to details Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) Physical Working Environment: Hybrid Work Environment: Monday - Wednesday on site in Amherst; Thursday, Friday remote Position is primarily sedentary with extensive computer work Regional travel is required to support company sponsored events
