Massachusetts Employer Line Cook in Amesbury, Massachusetts
OVERVIEW: We are located in Amesbury, MA and are looking for an experienced line cook. We are a young restaurant serving house-brewed beer and inspired food in a casual setting. We\'re looking for people who have a positive attitude and can remain focused during busy periods, with a good sense of humor. DUTIES: Preparation and service of food, including meats, fish, poultry and vegetables Use of standardized recipes and portions for all food Communication with other team members, including servers and managers, to ensure smooth, timely service Assisting in stocking inventory and maintaining cleanliness of all food prep and storage areas Comply with sanitation and nutrition regulations Maintain a positive attitude while staying focused REQUIREMENTS: Organizational skills and ability to multi-task Proven experience cooking in a commercial setting Basic knife skills Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures in a restaurant setting Serv Safe certification is a plus Must have reliable transportation Enthusiasm and ability to work independently We prefer full availability, but can make part time work for the right candidate.
