Summary
The Logistics Coordinator III is a critical role responsible for the efficient and effective management of inventory and logistics operations for the Department of Facilities. This position ensures the seamless flow of inventory from receiving to delivery for specific work orders, supporting the department's operational needs and contributing to overall organizational efficiency. The Logistics Coordinator III will oversee the departmental stockroom and warehouse, manage inbound and outbound logistics, including delivery and removal of furniture, appliances, and provide essential support to the Logistics Manager.

Example of duties
Managing inventory control and organization of residence hall supplies, including furniture, maintenance, and cleaning materials
Coordinating the fulfillment of housing orders and requests, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of supplies
Providing outstanding customer service by assisting students and staff with product inquiries and supply needs
Safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and university vehicles for delivery and transportation
Supporting receiving and delivery operations within the Department of Residence, including occasional deliveries to residence halls and facilities
Assisting with the maintenance and organization of residence hall supply areas

• Resolves issues, including atypical issues, and makes recommendations

• May act as a lead, assigning tasks and providing guidance to lower level workers
• May provide supervision to one to two other staff or lead a small work team
