General Information

The City of Ames Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for Kiddie Kickers Soccer Instructors.

Candidates interested in this opportunity can expect to start on March 31st, and work 3 hours per week, Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:15 PM - 6:45 PM, April through May.

Kiddie Kickers Soccer Instructors are directly accountable to the Recreation Manager and adjunctly accountable to the Recreation Superintendent and the Director of Parks and Recreation.

Examples of Essential Job Functions
  • Instruct 5 to 6-year-old participants on the basic fundamentals of the sport.
  • Enforce all procedures and rules in place for all youth at all facilities/locations.
  • Inspect environment to ensure the safety of the children.
  • Teach good sportsmanship at all times.
