The Field Applications Specialist for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for support of our customers in their use of our instrumentation and reagents. The successful candidate will act as the primary customer facing company representative responsible for ensuring the customer experience of our products meets and exceeds their expectations.
This position is within the Customer Operations organisation and is a field based role covering the South of the UK
You will be a part of a dynamic Field Applications team and report to the Field Applications manager.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
To be responsible for the installation of Beckman Coulter (BC) analysers and the associated tasks involved in the commissioning and customer training.
To develop and nurture productive relationships with all customers within a defined area of responsibility, providing on going support to both the instrumentation and reagent range.
Ensure the 'Voice of the Customer' is promoted to meet customer satisfaction metrics
The essential requirements of the job include:
To be successful in this role you must be results orientated, highly driven, self-motivated with the determination to succeed within a fast paced and extremely complex environment.
A qualification in Biochemistry is preferable.
Medical Diagnostics industry, Laboratory experience preferable.
Knowledge and understanding of laboratory practices, including a knowledge of clinical chemistry and immunoassay.
A self-motivated individual who has an enthusiastic approach to customer service and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
IT literate, including an understanding of laboratory automation, LIS/middleware, and their interactions with analytical instrumentation.
The ability to provide remote and on-site customer application support for respective product line(s) across UK and Northern Europe region where required.
The ability to provide effective second line application support across UK and Northern Europe region when required.
The ability to achieve departmental goals and objectives to meet the company’s operational plan.
A full clean UK driving license
Reside within the UK mainland
