Reference #: 4712266 THE POSITION The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's (PLCB) Fine Wine & Good Spirits brand is seeking a District Manager for Store Operations in Region 1. This position will be home-headquartered OR headquartered in Montgomery County.

This position will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth in stores throughout the assigned district and has full accountability for the key financial results of the district. The position will be responsible for the overall leadership and development of the store management teams within the district by building an independent, high-performing team that is dedicated to achieving results and supporting agency strategies. The District Manager sets the tone and maintains the culture of the PLCB, inspires the employees, and shows dedication to the customers.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position creates and maintains a diverse, high-performing district team through consistent selection, development, and motivation; creates and drives a culture within the district focused on providing exceptional customer experience; and ensures Fine Wine and Good Spirits retail locations adhere to laws, rules, regulations, and policies. The position also conducts store visits and meets with store management at a frequency consistent with the store grade, but no less than once per quarter to observe the following: Financial/Business Drivers including employee behaviors in relation to customer experience model, Talent and Operational review. (i.e., condition of the store, inventory, marketing displays, employees, and adherence to centralized policies and directives).

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is on-call 24/7. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You must be willing to travel. Travel expenses will be paid. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a State Liquor Store Administrator 2; or Two years as a State Liquor Store Administrator 1; or Seven years of retail store experience at the manager or assistant manager level which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes administrative and management experience involving the review, analysis, and implementation of procedures, policies, and directives.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
