Industrial Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission will be…

Reporting directly to the Digital Services Operations Manager, the Industrial Automation Engineer will perform duties associated with the Automation Systems definition, design and project management on Industrial systems, plants, production lines and machines. You will be responsible to:

• Develop customer approach to projects in scope of Customer Services and Digital Services, as PLC’s Siemens Simatic S7, HMI´s and SCADA Siemens WinCC, communications, shopfloor connectivity and interface to Digital Management Systems (IIOT);

• Contact customers, collaborate in solutions definition and design, collaborate and support offer development, project implementation and management;

• Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability;

• Comply with company’s safety procedures and policies, ensure no hazardous incident takes place;

We are looking for someone with…

• College degree in electrical engineering or technical education in industrial automation;

• Knowledge on industrial automation systems (other brands like Schneider or Omron are valued);

• Knowledge on industrial Automation and SCADA systems (preferential);

• Strong motivation to Service Sales and develop ability to offer Solutions and Services to meet customer requirements and expectations;

• Fluent in English;

• VSD´s Programming will be a plus;

• Analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must;

• Customer relations and interaction skills;

• self-starter, team player, problem solver, organized, flexible, customer and safety oriented;

• Must work well in team environment, that could include international colleagues, as well as independently;

• Availability to frequent travel to customer sites (national and international) is required.
